About This Session

This course is designed for the designated as an introduction to the topic of student self-harming.

Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • differentiate what is and what is not Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI)
  • recognize the relationship between self-regulation and self-harming behavior
  • respond to self-harming behaviour
  • distinguish your role in relation to your school’s protocol and how you support students.
