Learn about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, the etiology and manifestations, and how it may present, including strategies and resources to support students and their families.

This course provides K-12 educators with an understanding of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), how the disorder may affect student behavior, and strategies that can be used in the classroom to support all students.

After completing this course you will be able to:

  • Recognize common characteristics associated with FASD
  • Understand how alcohol affects pregnancy
  • Identify strategies to support students and resources available to support those impacted by FASD
