Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, educators should
- Have a better understanding of behaviour and the models of responding to behaviour
- Understand the role of teachers and other school personnel in promoting positive behaviour
- Be familliar with key strategies and resources
- Appreciate the fundamental importance of relationships
This 4-part presentation explores managing challenging behavior in your classroom:
- Part 1 – focuses on promoting positive behavior in the classroom (10 minutes)
- Part 2 – examines behavior intervention models and understanding of student behavior (14 minutes)
- Part 3 – reviews specific intervention strategies (14 minutes)
- Part 4 – explains healthy relationships = healthy classrooms (7 minutes)
