“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable… less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.”

WHO WE ARE

In 2013, MORE: Mental Health Online Resources for Educators was launched, offering free, online courses on mental health and substance use to educators and school staff working with early childhood services to Grade 9 students in Southern Alberta.

We have since expanded to work with all Alberta educators, school staff, and administrators working with K-12 students.

MORE is a program in Mental Health Collaborative, which is a Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Psychiatry Program (CAAMHPP) within Alberta Health Services (AHS).

Mental Health Collaborative (formerly HMHC: Healthy Minds Healthy Children) offers a variety of resources and services to support and build capacity in the area of child and adolescent mental health. We are dedicated to supporting the development of mental health literacy for educators and other school system staff, primary care providers, and the general public.
