This module reviews the risk and protective factors associated with teens and cannabis use.

After completing this module you will be able to:

  • Identify the risk and protective factors associated with cannabis use
  • Explain how teen brain development is affected by cannabis
  • Prepare for conversations with students about cannabis and the risks and protective factors
  • Review data concerning the prevalence of cannabis to prepare you for conversations with colleagues, parents and students (OPTIONAL)
